Fulda Fire Department conducting operation EDITH during Fire Prevention Week. EDITH (Exit Drills in the Home) suggests periodic fire drills by the family and assigned duties to reduce panic when faced with a fire.

100 loaves of bread were placed on the alter at First Presbyterian Church in celebration of World Communion Sunday.
Bob Sandhurst rolled his pickup on County Road 6 on Friday morning. He has been airlifted to Sioux Falls were he is in stable condition.
Luci Becker and Peter Goedtke were united in marriage on August 16th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulda with Rev. Jeffery Grams officiating. The couple plan to make their home in rural Fulda.

Marshal Isder lost approximately 30 acres of corn after a fire carried by high winds blew across one of his fields on Monday. All the remains are stocks and ears.
