Fulda Lion’s Club sponsored a free vision and hearing test for all 4 year old children in the community.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Uttech of New Ulm are the proud parents of a son born October 9th. Grandparents include Mrs. Lloyd Osborne, the late Mr. Clarence Uttech and Mr. and Mrs. John Lehman.

Dick Ohlenkamp, 79 passed away on Tuesday.

Bertha Phillips was laid to rest on Thursday. Miss Phillips passed away on October 3rd at the age of 78 years old.

The Fulda Volunteer Fire Department was called to a bean field of Robert Funk to extinguish a combine fire on Thursday.

After two years of preparation, automation is complete at the Fulda Library.  Nearly 14,000 books in the library have been logged, bar-coded and put back on the shelves. New library cards are now available.

A meeting was hosted by the Fulda FLA/FHA Chapter as a means of determining some common community service needs and areas where groups need help.
