Over 100 area residents attended the Barnes & Pals Milling open house on Monday.Robert Barnes and Gayleen and Lloyd Pals opened the business in September. Prior to that the two men operated mobile mills out of the Dundee elevator.
A farewell dinner was given for Pastor and Mrs. R. Charles Anderson at the First Lutheran Church in Dundee as they relocated to Carlton, Minnesota.
Larry Betz and family, Avoca, narrowly escaped serious injury Sunday night when their semi-trailer left the road and overturned on its side while enroute to Bangor, Maine. Mrs. Betz remains in the hospital awaiting facial surgery.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lucht celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last Sunday with an open house at Immanuel American Lutheran Church.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Yernberg on November 24th. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Larson.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gielen on November 23rd. Grandparents are Mrs. W. D. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. John Gielen.
Hester Marshall and Walter Horn were married on November 24th in Peace Lutheran Church in Kansas City.
Lorna Busch and Mark Hager were united in marriage on November 17th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fulda.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett Oolman celebrated their Silver Anniversary with family and friends on Saturday.
James Ankrum passed away November 15th at the age of 80 years old.
Myrtle Smith passed away November 17th following a stroke at the age of 59 years old.

Christian Clausen, 76, of Dundee was taken to the Worthington Regional Hospital with a fractured hip and head lacerations after his 1987 Ford pickup rolled on Hwy. 62 three miles east of Fulda.

The Fulda Police Department has received two letters from the Department of Public Safety; the first was addressed to Chief Jason Schulz letting him know the department was awarded 2nd place for their efforts in the Safe and Sober Challenge and the second was a grant for the purchase of an Automated External Defibrillator.
The benefits of the Ronald McDonald House in Sioux Falls, SD hit close to home as the Sue Zins family made use of it while their grandson was in the hospital.
Fulda High School Choir to present their holiday concert and cookie walk.
The second grade class at the Fulda Elementary School entertained their grandparents with “Arthur’s Thanksgiving.”
Fulda FFA holds Degree Ceremony.
