Mr. Ervin Goedtke, Vigortone Dealer has been awarded an all-expense paid trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in the Vigortone Products, Inc. Annual Red Carpet Holiday.
Herbert Modlin received a call on Saturday night that his father had suffered a second heart attack which took his life. Mr. and Mrs. Modlin left for Nebraska immediately.
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Greenfield are the parents of a son, Paul, born December 1st. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dass and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Greenfield.
Nearly 50 members of the Fulda Homemakers of America (FHA) and their advisor, Mrs. R. N. Beltz, entertained the residents of Maple Lawn Nursing Home with Caroling on Monday evening.

The Fulda School Board has established guidelines for the selection of a secondary principal at a recent meeting.
The Fulda Fire Department responded to a grass fire near the Carl Kleve farm, rural Avoca. The fire was quickly extinguished with no serious damage or injuries.
Todd Kirchner placed second in the District and 3rd in the Region in the 1986 FFA Creed Contest on December 3rd.
Debora Peppel and Keith Heinrichs were married October 4th at Immaculate Conception Church, Bonesteel, South Dakota.
Sherwin Linton’s Christmas Show to be held on Thurday and Friday at the Corral Supper Club.
Saturday supper special at Pals Cafe is 1/4 Chicken, potato and salad plus drink for $2.85.
Raider boys nip Adrian in overtime. Leading scorers for the Raiders were Kevin Honius with 21, Chris Lawson with 15 and Jamie Blesi with 9 points and 8 rebounds.
The Fulda girls defeated Worthington on Thursday leading at call quarter stops. Julie Heintz lead the scoring with 24 points followed by Julie Kramer with 16.
Scott and Bridget Lyons are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Michelle born December 8th. Grandparents are Duane and Edna Lyons and Richard and Helen Becker.

Santa was very busy on Saturday afternoon hearing the wishes of the many good little boys and girls who stopped by to sit on his lap and whisper in his ear.
Pioneer Public TV will soon be serving the Fulda area.
A two-vehicle head-on accident on Friday, two miles south of Fulda on Hwy 59 is being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol. Driver of the 1986 Ford van, Ma Zamora was treated and released for minor injuries as was her passenger, Genisis Camora. The driver of the 1997 Ford pickup, Richard Moss, was also treated and released for minor injuries. Moss’ passengers Evelyn Moss and Connie and Tim Haberman all received minor injuries.
Candi Wood and Clare Schweigert were united in marriage on June 22nd at First Presbyterian Church in Windom.
Kelly Engelkes and Brian Kirlin were married August 24th at First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Avoca.
Charles Stock passed away at the age of 74 on November 25th.
Irene M. Haberman passed away on December 7, at the age of 96 years old.
High school band and choir members spent time caroling down Fulda’s streets on Saturday afternoon.
