“Farmers Night” will be held at the Corral Supper Club on Thursday evening sponsored by the Fulda C & C.
Plans have been completed for the Fulda Lions Club Fishing Derby to be held on February 5th.
Fulda wrestlers win 24-22 over Lakefield. Wayne Paplow, 138, had the only pin for Fulda.
On Saturday, with temperatures in the high 40’s a large crowd of nearly 700 turned out for the Appreciation Day of the Cyanamid Farm Supply of Fulda.

William Greenhoff passed away suddenly on his farm in Lone Rock Township on January 13th. Mr. Greenhoff was 71 years old.
David M. Lee passed away in Texas following a lengthy illness on January 6, 1987. Mr. Lee was 39 years old.

The Fulda Area Credit Union will be expanding to include a branch office in Worthington with the doors opening by February 1st. Employees of the Worthington office are Katie Johnson, Diane Gerdes and Julie Pater.

The high winds on Wednesday and Thursday of last week had the temperatures plummeting to nearly 60 below zero windchill. The blowing snow left waves of white fluff throughout the area. Drifts were as high as 8 to 10 feet with some garages doors barely visible. Area homes were left in need of shoveling…not only sidewalks but roofs piled with over a foot of snow required shoveling as well. The reprieve came on Sunday when temperatures rose to 20 above zero…something this area has not seen in quite some time.
The Minnesota Twins, caravan to visit Fulda next Tuesday. Twins expected are Marty Cordova, Todd Walker, Tony Oliva, and Ryan Lefebvre.
The Dundee Liquor Store was robbed over weekend. Early Saturday morning the store was broke into with approximately $1,300 in cash and a Bud Light neon sign being taken. The investigation is on going.
