The Fulda Board of Education, at a recent meeting, studied and discussed the plans presented to them by the architects concerning the remodeling of the present Elementary School building. With the building previously geared to high school students, various State standards will have to be met to serve the 300 elementary students in the district at the present time. Additional lavatories will be added to the second floor, plumbing inspected for leaks, furnace repaired, and electrical wiring will be brought up to date. Also a major part of the remodel is the installation of a complete cafeteria and kitchen for the hot lunch program. Final plans and costs of the remodel will be forthcoming in future issues.
