The Fulda School Board accepts the plans for improving the Elementary School building as required by the State of Minnesota and have now called for a vote on the bond to cover the $125,000.00.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Klooster are the parents of a son, Marty born March 3rd in Worthington.
August Klute is called to Death at the age of 90 years old on March 13th.

Scott Wiener is in the Beginning Farmer Program. The Fulda Beginning Farmer Program got underway in the fall of 1988 with the help of LeRoy Uhlenkamp, agriculture instructor at the Fulda High School.
According to Orrin Clarke, Chairman of the Board at Fulda Independent Coop, a new temporary manager will be taking over mid week. Marv Kaufmann from Lakefield will resume the duties of Ed Van Ahn.
Lime Creek Grain Co. and it’s staff was honored recently for its outstanding sales and service during 1988 by Kent Feeds.
Fourth Annual Fulda Fishing Derby Day to be held on Sunday.
Adele Louise Gehl is honored as Resident of the Month at Maple Lawn Nursing Home.
Chris Bertrand selected for Lettering for Excellence sponsored by the Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation.

The Fulda Board of Education acknowledge Senior Wrestler Kent Crowley for his outstanding performance at the State meet. Kent brought home the Class AA State Wrestling Champion 189 pound trophy.
Governor Jesse Venture visits Southwest Minnesota.
The Fulda Police Department was called to investigate an arson call at Casey’s General Store on March 22nd where a garbage can in one of the bathrooms was set on fire. Fast thinking on the part of the employees left Casey’s bathroom with little damage.
Minnie Ranum is honored as Maple Lawn Nursing Home’s Resident of the Month.

The 1999 Spring Band Concert was held at the Fulda High School this week.
