National Lutheran Schools week celebrated at St. Paul’s School.

Fulda City Council members spent an hour and a half answering questions from Fulda citizens about the sewer problems on East Front Street.

Students at the Fulda High School learned about the duties of parenthood through a simulated baby experiment; a program called “Baby Think It Over”. The students not only cared for the baby themselves night and day but also had to give their baby a name, find babysitters if they had to work or had plans, and soothe and change them. 

Bryan and Linda Lund traveled to Tura, Linda’s childhood home, for a Christmas visit to old friends. “It had been 28 years since we left Tura,” said Linda Lund, “This was a place my father had helped birth the church in. It was good to see all that God had accomplished in our absence.”

The month of March came in like a roaring lion as the region was dumped on with snow and ice over the weekend.

Fulda High School Senior Profiles include Sarah Isder and Kristin Crowley.

Three Fulda/Murray County Central Warriors competed in the state tournament in River Center in St. Paul; Kent Crowley, Brian Ackerman and John Klein.

Becky Bunkers and Derek Tonn were married on November 1, 1997 at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota.

Scott Bunkers and Nancy Cole were united in marriage on October 25, 1997 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, Minnesota with the Rev. Ron Koch officiating.

Shanna McBreen and Chad Strowbridge announce their engagement. A July 18th wedding is being planned.

Students at St. Paul’s Lutheran School received new soybean Crayons by entering the Prang Fun Pro Soybean Crayon Coloring contest.
