The Dundee Liquor Store was robbed sometime during Monday night or Tuesday morning. Stolen was $20.00 cash and twenty half-pint bottles of whiskey. Operator Duane Lyons was on vacation at the time.

A fencing bee was held at the Herman Schnurr farm on Friday as a large pasture was fenced in by many friends.

Giants defeat Balaton 5-1 in Sunday’s game; lose to Luverne on Tuesday 6-2.

Mrs. Adolph Gunderman and daughter Patricia are hospitalized following a two car crash on Friday evening.

Ice Cream Social to be held at Pfingsten Lutheran Church on June 7th.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lehnhoff are the parents oaf a daughter, Laureen born May 25th.

Mr. and Mrs. Herb Remiger are the parents of a son Joseph born May 19th. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Herman Zemler.

Mr. and Mrs. George Opdahl are the parents of a baby boy, born Friday.

Funeral services for Sister Othelia, who passed away at the age of 71 on May 25th, were held in St. Paul on Wednesday.

Mary Schnuur and James Ahlers were married on Saturday at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.

Alice Lehman is mighty proud of the diploma she received at graduation exercises at the Fulda High School last week. Alice is the mother of seven children and says it took her almost 50 years to earn her diploma.

Chad Carroll qualifies for the State Track Meet in the 800 meter run.

Rev. Royce Leckband to be installed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on June 11th.

Mini Employment Offices open for the fifteenth season in Fulda, Slayton and Chandler.

Joleen and Jeff Weiner were the winners of the Fulda Wood Duck Logo Contest.

Fritz and Lois Deuschle to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10 with an open house and music by the Country Yanks.

Arthur Fuchs, former St. Paul’s School principal, will retire on July 1st after 20 years serving as principal in Young America. We wish Mr. Fuchs a grand retirement.

Debra Beckmann was chosen as Girl’s Stater by the Fulda American Legion Auxiliary.

Rodney and Rae Ann Storm are the proud parents of a boy, Jeremy born June 3rd. Grandparents are Henrietta Smith and Marvin and Vi Storm.

Brian and Terri Pelzel are the parents of a daughter, Whitney born May 24th.

Raymond Wilkison passed away at the age of 81 years old on May 29th.

Arnold (Shorty) Nemmers passed away on June 5th.

The city council voted to fund one-third, up to $2,000, for a study on Ditch 13 from County Road 2 to Seven Mile Lake.

Matt Kremer builds and puts up Wood Duck houses as his Eagle Scout project.

St. Paul’s Lutheran School students end the year by sharing their pets with Maple Lawn Nursing Home residents.

Mrs. Heintz holds Kindergarten graduation at St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Eighth grade graduation was also held with Principal Parry overseeing the ceremony.

Don Olsem joins the crew at the Fulda Post Office.

Raiders fare well at State Track Meet as Kent Crowley brings home a fourth place medal and Jenna Wendorff takes 12th place.
