Larry Haseman and Bob Kolander left Sunday for Stoney Point Bible Camp at Lake Crystal for one week.
Marilyn Klenken and Wayne Samp were united in marriage on August 13th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Wilmont.
Miss Bessie Phillips, who passed away on Friday, was laid to rest at Wilmont on Monday.
F. W. Penrod, 62, passed away on August 9th in Clearwater, Florida. Mr. Penrod was employed at the Citizen State Bank in Fulda for 37 years.
Mrs. Dora Groth passed away on August 19th in Worthington. at the age of 94 years old.

A second meeting of the Fulda City Council was held on Thursday in regards to a variance for the Fulda Independent Coop to erect two steel bins on Baltimore Avenue.
The flag is being flown in front of the Murray County Courthouse this week in honor of Clinton Maynard Johnson.
Ervin Hakeneis met with Cary Shoutz, DNR, to approve the new fishing pier in Fulda.
Maple Lawn ladies, Alvina Weinzetl and Irene Bruns participate in the annual Murray County Fair.

An ordinance setting rules and requirements for developing land within the City of Fulda was discussed at the city council meeting on Monday evening.
The City of Fulda will once again be applying for state and federal dollars in the form of a housing rehab grant.
Sister and brother, Ann and Frank Herrebout, Belgium, have been touring the United States and stopped for a visit in Fulda.
With the official closure of the Dundee Post Office, residents will soon receive notification of address changes.
Past District 5-M3 Governor Martin Aaser presented 20-year Lions Club member Ed Balt with the Melvin Jones Fellowship award for humanitarian service.
The Fulda Elementary Gymnasium was transformed into a theatre last week when the Prairie Fire Theatre came to town. 45 local children auditioned and received various parts in “Peter Pan”.
