Pickle Ball Tournament

Nineteen participants were involved in the first Fulda Wood Duck Festival Pickle Ball Tournament. (Pickle-ball is traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special Pickle-ball paddles, made of wood or high-tech aerospace materials. The ball used is similar to a wiffle ball, but slightly smaller. The lower net and wiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities, while still allowing more competitive players to test their mettle.)

Leading in the Women’s was Wendy Kremer.

In the Men’s play, Don Marcy and Aaron Fest tied with the same amount of points for the day.  It was decided to draw the winner from a hat. In that process, Don Marcy was declared the Men’s winner.
