The Section 3A South volleyball tournament begins next Monday (October 21) with opening-round action. The fourth-seeded Coyotes have received a first-round bye and will advance to the tournament’s quarterfinal round and will host fifth-seeded Westbrook-Walnut Grove at Fulda on Friday evening, October 25.
The quarterfinal winners will play in the semifinals on Tuesday, October 29 with the championship match scheduled for Halloween Night (Thursday, October 31). The sectional finals (between the South and North champions) will be played Saturday, November 2 at SMSU in Marshall.
The Coyotes defeated the Chargers (13-13) in four sets at Westbrook on September 26.
Adrian, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and Red Rock Central are the tournament’s top three seeds.
