A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD

February 25, 2020 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Jens, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Thomas Burke and Amy Rucker.

MSP to approve the agenda as modified.

MSP to approve the minutes from the February 18, 2020 meeting.

Open Forum: There was no one present for Open Forum.

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches 11, 22(2) and Admin totaling $5,5825.00.

MSP to hold a special meeting of the Murray County Drainage Authority Board on March 25, 2020 at 9 a.m. for the purpose of awarding bids for the JD 20A/JD6 improvement project.

MSP Resolution No. 2020-02-25-01, Resolution for Aggregate Resource Mapping

MSP to approve an agreement with CBS Squared, Inc. for an Architectural/Engineering Study for the Highway Department.

MSP to appoint Marc Hollahan to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

MSP to oppose the Heron Lake Watershed District’s legislative request for increased levy authority.

MSP to oppose the Heron Lake Watershed District’s legislative request for bonding authority.

MSP to approve the 2019 Pay Equity Implementation Report for Murray County, which will be submitted to the Minnesota Management and Budget Department, further moving that the Board Chair is authorized to sign the report.

MSP to approve the committee reports for February 9 through 22, 2020.

MSP to approve attendance of all Murray County commissioners at the FY2021 Local Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Listening Session on Thursday, March 12 at the USDA Service Center in Slayton.
