A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
March 3, 2020 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Thomas Burke, Travis Smith, and Ronda Radke.
MSP to approve the agenda.
MSP to approve the minutes from the February 25, 2020 meeting.
MSP that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated March 3, 2020 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 161626 through 161664:
County Revenue Fund 21,207.14
County Road & Bridge Fund 11,691.71
Total 32,898.85
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for Judicial Ditches No. 3, 18, 20A, 22, 28, and 38.
MSP to authorize issuing a liquor license for the period 4/1/2020 to 5/6/2020 as follows: “On and Off Sale Sunday Liquor” License No. 2 to Key Largo on Shetek, LLC dba Key Largo, further moving to waive additional liquor license fees for 2020. Contingent on approval from the County Attorney.
MSP to approve the purchase of fifty (50) buoy solar lights, forty (40) buoy wraps, and twenty-five (25) buoys for a total of $16,445.00 using $16,150.00 of 2019 Federal Boating Grant funds and $295.00 from the Board and Water account (acct. 202).
MSP approve 2020 per capita funding to the Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force in the amount of $35,772.50.
MSP to approve Conditional Use Permit #1367 for Lismore Telephone to convert an existing lattice wind turbine to a telecommunications tower in the Agriculture District in the SE ¼, Section 22, Lime Lake Township, with the findings and two (2) special conditions recommended by the Planning Commission.
MSP to approve Conditional Use Permit #1368 for Greg VanderPoel to construct and operate a new feedlot for 720 animal units in the Agriculture District in the W1/2 SW1/4, Section 11, Lowville Township, with the findings and four (4) special conditions recommended by the Planning Commission.
MSP Resolution 2020-03-03-01, A Resolution Proclaiming April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month
MSP Resolution 2020-03-03-02, A Resolution Proclaiming March 2020 as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
MSP to appoint John Hoyme to the Murray County Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission.
MSP to set a bid opening data for 2020 Maintenance Striping Project CD 01-20 on April 7, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
