Ramerth Hardware, Inc., will be celebrating its 15 year anniversary with an Open House on Saturday, October 5th. Coffee and cookies will be served from 8 to 4 p.m. Be sure to stop in and congratulate Doug and Lyn and their staff on 15 years of serving Fulda and the surrounding area.
Ramerth Hardware opened its door under the ownership of Doug and Lyn Ramerth on Monday, October 18, 2004.
Ramerth Hardware was located on Fulda’s St. Paul Avenue (now Fulda Family Chiropractic) until it relocated to 205 Front Street E.
Former owners of the hardware store on Front Street were Hyslop Hardware, Marv’s Hardware and Appel’s Hardware.
The building that houses Ramerth Hardware was originally owned by Don Schwab, a former lumber yard owner. In 1993 it was purchased and built onto by Ramerth Ag Service. Doug and Lyn purchased the property from Ramerth Ag Service in 2008.
