The Fulda Free Press and Murray County News is compiling information on area veterans to be included in a spiral bound, keepsake book.
We want to honor all local military men and women for their service to our country in our upcoming publication: Recognizing Our Local Heroes – Past and Present.
What we need from you is information that will identify the veteran or serviceman or woman. We are looking for the person’s name, branch of service, parents’ names, spouse, children and their spouses, date of enlistment, date of separation, rank upon separation, specialty schools or job, overseas assignments, stateside assignments, combat experience, unit assignments, military commendations, any other information that could be useful, as well as veteran’s organizations and years of membership.
We ask that stories or reflections from your military service time be included.
