Irv Larson, age 78, passed away on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda.
Larson was well-known in the Fulda area for collecting and restoring antique gas engines. He was very knowledgable about the engines and was always eager to share his knowledge. Every year, for many years, Larson helped to organize the Antique Engine Show held at Fulda Depot during the Fulda Wood Duck Festival. He was a long-time member of the Fulda Historical Society, and helped with many of the activities and events held by the Society.
He was also well-known by many area children for the repairs he made to their bicycles.
Larson was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Fulda Fish and Game Club, and the Fulda Senior Citizen’s Club.
