After graduating from 4-H last year as a member of the Indian Lake Progressives, Haley Ruesch has decided “I’m not quite ready to give up 4-H and I think it will be fun to see it from this perspective, too.” Her new perspective will be as the 4-H Summer Intern for Nobles County. Having seen other 4-H graduates return to serve as interns, Haley thought it would be a great summer opportunity for herself.
“It’s nice to be able to still be involved,” she added of the summer internship opportunity. “I have always had a passion for 4-H and I am excited to share that passion this summer.” She applied through the state Extension Service earlier this year and hoped to get a position in Nobles or Jackson County, close to home.
