A big second-half effort helped propel the St. James Area Saints to a 56-33 victory over the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes in a non-conference high school girls’ basketball game last Tuesday night (January 7) in St. James.
SJA led 22-17 at halftime, and after HL-O/F rallied to take a brief lead early in the second half, the Saints took command — outscoring the Coyotes 34-16 in the final 18 minutes to capture a 23-point win.
