Schwaller leads JV boys, Appel places sixth, out of 65 junior high finishers

Sophomore Adrian Schwaller was MCC / F’s top finisher in the JV boys’ race over the same 4,000-meter course. Schwaller placed 50th overall, among 97 total finishers, with his time of 18:49.90. He was 36th in the team scoring.

Completing the scoring for the Warriors were freshman Derek Kluis (61st, 44th, 19:38.72), freshman Dylan Kremer (63, 45, 19:53.6), freshman Wyatt Biren (92, 51, 23:42.72) and junior Logan Clarke (94, 52, 23:46.19) giving the team an eighth-place total of 228 points (36-44-45-51-52).

Warrior seventh-grader Caleb Appel ran an impressive race in the junior high boys’ race. He placed sixth — out of 65 finishers — with an excellent time of 9:34.58 over a 2,100-meter (1.31 miles) course.

Seventh-grader Zach Kirchner (20th, 10:39.50), eighth-grader Caleb Ethridge (39th, 11:11.79) and eighth-grader John Olsem (47th, 11:20.02) also completed the distance for the MCC / Fulda junior high boys.
