See You at the Pole held at Fulda High School

See You at the Pole was held on Wednesday morning at Fulda High School.

See You at the Pole is a student-led annual  international gathering of thousands of Christian students as they meet at the flag pole to pray together.

The history behind See You at the Pole began in early 1990 when a small group of teenagers in Burleson, Texas, came together for a Disciple Now weekend.

They sought God and He compelled them to pray for their friends, schools and leaders. They drove to three different schools, met at the flag poles there, and prayed.  God used these praying teens to put a vision in the hearts of youth leaders across the state of Texas.

The vision was for students across the state to follow the example of their praying peers and meet at their school flagpoles to pray simultaneously. This vision was shared at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas in June of 1990 with the 20,000 students who were in attendance.

At 7:00 a.m. on September 12, 1990, more than 45,000 teens met at school flagpoles located in four different states.

The Global Week of Student Prayer was observed from Sunday, September 22 through Saturday, September 28.
