5:32 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Murray County.

7:21 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Murray County. Sirens were set off in the patch of the storm.

Friday, July 19

9:13 a.m. Received report of a fire in Mason Township. Slayton, Currie, Iona, Chandler and Lake Wilson Fire Departments and Murray County Ambulance were paged.  Deputies also responded.

9:25 a.m. Received request for an ambulance in Ellsborough Township. Pipestone County contacted the Ruthton First Responders and Lyon County was contacted for the Balaton Ambulance.

11:47 a.m. Received report of a theft in Lake Wilson City. Deputy responded.

11:50 a.m. Received report of a disturbance in Hadley City. Deputy responded.

3:48 p.m. Received request for a welfare check in Shetek Township. Deputies responded.
