Students prepare Preschool Stew

A recipe shared by preschool students at Fulda Elementary School for Preschool Stew sounds quite simple to prepare. But, ask the preschoolers just how much work making Preschool Stew is, and they will gladly tell you.

Preparations had to be made to enable the students to make their Preschool Stew  on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Decisions had to be made about who was bringing which vegetable to put in the stew.

Once the vegetables arrived at school, it took a lot of work washing all of those colorful vegetables. But most of the work began when teachers Alice Spartz and Lisa Peterson, assisted by paraprofessional,  Brittany Timmerman,  told the young cooks that they would have to chop up the vegetables for the stew.
