Taylor Kenney, a Fulda High School alumnus, is the designer of this year’s Fulda Wood Duck Festival “Grow with us” logo.
When asked how she learned that a logo was needed for the theme, Kenney replied, “My mom, Roxanne Kenney, actually told me that the Fulda Area Community Club was looking for someone to design the logo for this year. When she called me, she had mentioned that she thought of or heard of “Grow with us” as a theme!” Kenney explained. “I took that information from her and designed the logo from there. My mom helped me out a lot, between giving me information for the logo and then being the go-between person from the Community Club to me!”
When asked what made her decide to submit the logo design for this year’s Fulda Wood Duck Festival, Kenney replied, “I decided to submit my logo design for a few different reasons. This semester, I’m teaching a graphic design course at the University of South Dakota so I’ve really worked on and enhanced my skills in that area. Having that experience made it easy and fun for me to do this project. The ability to use my graphic design skills and help Fulda in the process was perfect!”
