Putting 10 players in the scoring column, including 12 first-half points by junior guard Jaeden Strandberg, the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda B-Squad boys basketball team won its 12th game of the season, claiming a well-balanced 57-33 victory over Edgerton at Fulda last Monday, February 3.
Strandberg, who also contributes quality minutes for the HLOF varsity, played in just the first half of the B-Squad game and helped lift the Coyotes to a 31-17 lead during the game’s opening 14 minutes.
HLOF continued to extend its advantage in the second half, outscoring the Flying Dutchmen by a 26-16 margin, and cruised to the 24-point triumph.
