The Farmer’s Daughter Market Place opened on July 21st, and since then Laura Williams has been providing area residents garden fresh produce Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Williams is a 2013 graduate of Fulda High School. She attended Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, earning a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Each summer, Williams comes home to help her family work Williams Produce, a truck farm located near Brewster. There is an agreement in place between parents and children that help the children earn money to purchase their cars and pay for their college educations. Williams said that the arrangement has worked very well for her.
