Editor’s note: The following information was shared by Austin Thier, a 2017 graduate of Fulda High School who is now serving in the Marine Corps, along with information from his mother, Amy Thier, regarding Austin’s participation in The Crucible and the graduation ceremony.
Austin Thier was home in Fulda from Oct 8 to 17. He was quickly met by two of his cousins, Colten and Brenton Erdmann, and asked if he would come dressed up in his uniform to Fulda Elementary School for their show and tell.
While home, Thier also participated with the Fulda Legion at the Fulda Raider football game to help raise the flag during the National Anthem.
