Three people were hospitalized following a Friday afternoon crash at the intersection of United States Highway 59 and Murray County Road #3. The accident occurred at 4:36 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by a 17 year old male, was west bound on County Road 3 and failed to stop for the stop sign. The vehicle struck a southbound Peterbilt, driven by Roland Eugene Kruse, Toronto, South Dakota. After the Pontic struck the Peterbilt, the vehicle was struck again by a northbound 2006 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Margie Rose Jenson, Slayton, MN.
Jenson was transported to Murray County Medical Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Pontiac, along with his juvenile passenger, were transported to Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Kruse was not injured in the accident.
Responding to the incident were the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Fulda Police Department, Fulda Ambulance, Murray County Ambulance, and the Fulda Fire Department.
