At a Fulda Food Shelf Board of Directors meeting held last week, Genell Hollahan, Certified Financial Planner® with Thrivent Financial, talked about the company’s Choice Dollars® program and its availability to certain local 501(c)3 organizations.
“Thrivent Choice® is a member-advised charitable grant program where eligible Thrivent Financial members can recommend where Thrivent distributes a portion of its charitable funds,” Hollahan said. “Fulda organizations who are eligible, that are on the list of those who can receive Choice Dollars, include the Fulda Food Shelf, St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran School, and Maple Lawn Senior Care Center.”
