Fulda men and women were honored and recognized at the 2019 Veterans Day Program held at Fulda High School on Monday morning.
Following a welcome by Fulda FCCLA members, members of Fulda Legion Post and Auxiliary marched in to post the colors. The Fulda High School band, directed by Matt Saxman played the Star Spangled Banner, followed by Mr. Colby Pack’s 5th grade class leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
The invocation was given by Fulda Legion Post member Burdell Christians.
Several Fulda Schools’ faculty and staff members were recognized for their participation in the Jeans for Troops Program. The participants paid $5.00 to wear jeans to school on certain days. The funds go to the GI Go Fund.
