August 16th, 2016 the Murray County Board of Commissioners were called into meeting at 8:30 am sharp. First, the August 2nd minuets and the agenda for that day were approved.

Winter informed the Board of the finished project at the Dovray Marsh. Originally, the outlet structure was placed at the wrong elevation, thus creating water retention. The DNR approved the redo.

Winter talked about the increase in mail-in votes. She thanked the Board for investing in the ds200 voting machine. The machine scans and tabulates ballots, making it possible for many to mail in their vote.

Next, bids for county ditch 29 were discussed. A bidder was chosen and approved by the Board. The bidder will be contacted and a contract will be made.
