Walk-in care (formerly known as Acute care) services to move to Sanford Worthington Clinic

Illnesses, injuries and accidents are never planned and they rarely occur at times that are convenient.  Sanford Worthington has offered walk-in services for six years at Sanford Worthington Medical Center.  Starting October 9, 2017, walk-in care for patients with non-emergency medical conditions will be offered at Sanford Worthington Clinic.  Patients can come in for everything from flus and fevers to sprains, strains and minor injuries.

  Walk-in patients can visit the office without an appointment. Direct access to laboratory and x-ray services is offered right on-site.  Walk-in care is available Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“At Sanford we are committed to providing quality health care, close to home and when it works for our patients and their families,” says Greg Shell, clinic director at Sanford Worthington Clinic.  “We realize people are busy and they can’t always get to the doctor during traditional hours. We hope our walk-in services continue to bring a level of convenience to Worthington and the surrounding communities.”

Sanford Worthington’s walk-in care is located at 1680 Diagonal Road, Worthington.
