Lamberton MN, The Fulda/MCC Warriors headed into the section playoff with the biggest team they have had in years only giving up three forfeits we nearly have a full team. With the season ending in a loss against Wabasso/Red Rock Central (9-70) the Warriors can still hold their head high as they put in the work and had an excellent season as individuals and as a team. As a team the F/MCC Warriors have won more duals this year than they have in the last few years so things are picking up.
Carson Klein and Aiden Lorenzen would pull away from the pigtail dual match with wins. Aiden Lorenzen pinned Aubrey Mathiowetz in 1:22 at 120lbs. Aiden would score an early takedown and not let Aubrey up until she was pinned. Carson Klein won his match at the 126lb bout by taking Carter Beranek down early in the first period and riding him out for the remainder of the period. Then doing the same in the second period after they started both up. The third period provided more action though as Carson started in the down position and earned an early escape then putting on a takedown show hoping to score more team points. Carson ended up winning the match with an 11-4 decision. Kadin Kuehl wrestled a tough match as usual against Mason Irlbeck going all three periods an losing by fall late in the third period.
