The Warriors sent 5 wrestlers to the section individual tournament to see if they could qualify for the State Tournament. The five wrestlers that competed were Dawson Blankenship, Danny Blankenship, Christian Kuball, Keigan Behnke and Jon Gehl.
Dawson Blankenship came into the tournament unseeded, but that did not deter him from putting up a great effort. Dawson wrestled the #4 seeded wrestler from Redwood first round. Even though Dawson gave up a fall to his opponent; Dawson wrestled him tough scoring twice on his foe. In the wrestle backs Dawson drew an opponent from Quad County. Dawson wrestled a tough against his opponent, but ended up losing 11-1 in his final match of the season for Dawson. Dawson’s career has started off with 11 wins this year and his future looks bright.
