In spite of having several days of meetings for budget talks in the past week the Murray County Board of commissioners met at their usual time to take care of current county business on Tuesday, July 19.
Auditor/treasurer Heidi Winter presented the warrants for payment. One bill was questioned because it was considerably higher than what the board had set as an upper limit at a former meeting. They preferred to have the contractor meet with them for extra costs or receive quotes from two or more contractors in the future.
