With the score tied at 21-21 at halftime, the Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey Wolverines broke away from the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes in the second half and captured a 47-30 victory in a Red Rock Conference high school girls’ basketball game last Tuesday night (January 21) in Mountain Lake.
MLA/C outscored HL-O/F 26-9 over the final 18 minutes to claim a 17-point win on its home court.
